Description: | I was swimming in the ocean with Tyler and his friend Court. The water did not butt up to a sandy beach, but rather to a busy four lane highway. We would body surf to the concrete edge, and people would gawk out their windows at us, as if the ocean was not supposed to be there and they were seeing the water for the first time, let alone people out in it. Under the waves up top the water was calm and we could talk beneath the water and not have to hold our breath. Looking upwards at the surface from below, it seemed as if the ocean were more of an aquarium that we were in. A feeling of Plexiglas walls and cover. There was a layer of snow along the surface, yet one could see the gently rolling waves. Like something in a wave machine. One large, singular wave that cascaded in, then pulled back. The water was warm. Hotter than bath water, cooler than a hot tub. I dont know why I was there swimming with my son and his friend and no one else, that was rather odd. At one point, we saw an orca along the top of the water, but other than that, it was the only sea life, fish, mammal, plant or otherwise in the dream. |
